By kml     Mar 24, 2007 in Sports
At the World Figure Skating Championships, 17-year-old Kimmie Meissner was all smiles. But she's the face of a sport that some say is more stressful than any other.
This was held In Japan on Saturday, millions watched, twirl and jump through the World Figure Skating Championships.
They have to put more stress and pressure in skating rather than any other athlete. Nobody found any stress on the winner Meissner.
One of the example gives us how dangerous skating is. "Tara Lipinski. We love the visual of Tara winning the Olympic gold medal in 1998, she was 15, leaping for joy," Brennan said. "We don't want to know that before she turned 20 she had the hip surgery of a 75-year-old woman and can no longer skate."
They are many difficulties and health problems with skating. You can link to the source to check few examples of this.
Anyhow, the girl looks very smart and enthusiastic. Congrats to her on the victory.
