Youngest Person To Fly Solo Around The World

A Miami Dade, Fla pilot is hoping he becomes the youngest person to fly solo around the world. Twenty three year old Barrington Irving started his journey on Friday and will complete the mission in 41 days.
The journey started in Opa-Locka Executive Airport in Miami and includes U.S. stops in Farmingdale, New York, Cleveland and Ohio. He will be crossing over Canada on Tuesday, travel across the Atlantic, then Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
Irving is flying a "Lancair Columbia 400 single engine aircraft called Inspiration" and expects the journey to take 41 days. His trip is being tracked on www.experienceaviation.org . Irving is the founder of experience aviation which is an "organization that encourages minority youths to pursue aviation careers" . He is also an aerospace student at Florida Memorial University.
