By Lisa Angotti     Mar 23, 2007 in Entertainment
Campbell, who has graced fashion catwalks worldwide, has finished five days of community service she receive for assaulting her maid.
The cell phone-wielding beauty was released Friday after finishing her mopping duties at New York's Department of Sanitation.
Just after 4 pm supermodel Naomi Campbell was seen leaving the facility after she spent the last five days getting down and dirty. She reportedly was not dressed for her mopping duties as she left, sporting a stiletto heals and a shimmering gown. (Kinda hard to mop in a gown, but who am I to judge?)
The sentence stemmed from charges filed a year ago that led to the assault, which began over an argument over a pair of jeans. Ana Scolavino, the maid had to have stitches in her head after Campbell's cell phone made contact.
The 36-year-old model plead guilty, but has also said that it was an accident and her intention was not assault. Campbell could have gone to jail for the attack, but a judge instead ruled to sentence Campbell to community service instead after a deal was struck with the prosecution. Campbell also is required to take anger management classes, pay $363.32 to the maid cover hospital bills for injuries the maid sustained.
