An Israeli company has developed a lie detector that could be used on the phone.
The lie detector can work over broadband and internet phones. They are thinking that businessmen could use it to deal with unseen clients. It monitors stress levels in real time and was based on voice stress analysis technology.
They say they have tested it by releasing it free through KishKish and Skype. It takes only 10 seconds to calibrate it to your voice. They also tested it with insurance companies.
Pretty interesting stuff, but as usual we have to watch it closely for abuse. If nothing else maybe it helps keep some people honest. Let's face it, some people really need that incentive.
