More and more marijuana grow-ops are being started in the middle of neighborhoods where no one suspects a thing.
Two homes in Bramptom have been found with almost 250 plants and 95 freshly harvested pot along with a bunch of cash.
The amount of pot isn't what the officers found disturbing it was the 20-month old child that was alleged in the marijuana grow-op.
After the homes were raided the parents of the young children were arrested.
Officers keep on finding more kids in places where danger is lurking, the danger is usually lurking in the child's own home.
"You know, there was a baby there and a carriage sitting there most of the summer. There were young people coming and going and there was nothing that would make you think 'uh oh, what's going on here?'"
"I was babysitting my son's dogs and we let them out the patio door and thought, whoa! Somebody's smoking on our deck."
The 20-month old child is now in custody at the Children Aids Society.
How to spot a grow in your neighbourhood:
