article imageMore men report sexual harassment in US workplace

By RobotGod     Mar 14, 2007 in World
A record number of men reported being sexually harassed in the workplace last year, according to the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).
Some new data from the EECO says that 15.4 percent of the 12,025 charges of sexual harassment in 2006 were filed by men. (I can believe that working here.*L* Just a little DJ humor.)
They also are seeing a real jump in "male on male harassment. Men in general are feeling more open with reporting harassment apparently.
Basically sexual harrasment is a continuing problem. But my feeling is that at least a small number of the cases are just oversensitive people. I know that many are genuinely harassed, but there are always others who over-react.
