Coward boss fires four employees by sending them a text message
Four workers from a UK firm in Chester were fired by text messages from their boss, taking immediate effect.
The boss, Mr Lee Wilson of the Chester company, Stanley Porters and Co. Limited fired the poor workers at quarter to eight this morning, telling them not to even approach the office where they worked according to a news scoop in the local Chester Chronicle.
The message, which each of the four received had said, "Due to the lack of professionalism and poor overall performance of the Chester office, I have no option but to let u go," It went on to say "Ur pay wil be calculated and paid on pay day. U are not required to go into the office. All belongings wil be sent to u."
One of the sacked four, who called himself, for the report, 'Nick' said that he had just spent $6,000 on a trip to Florida. The young lad, 22 could not believe his eyes at the text he got on Monday morning. He said, "He talks about a lack of professionalism but what is unprofessional is sacking people by text message without any proper notice."
Mr Wilson won't be putting in for the 'Great Boss' award this year, I guess...
