Trouble is brewing for a USC Football player after the racist group he created as a "joke" was discovered.
The group's image showed a black baby in handcuffs that came with the caption "arrest black babies before they become criminals". The name of the Facebook group was "White Nation", created by USC Junior linebacker Clay Matthews.
The description for the group read "This group is not for the faint of heart. All members are athletes of Caucasion descent. DISCLAIMER: In no way are the following memebers intolerant of others, we are just doing our duty of protecting the Arian brotherhood."
Apparently the "joke" began when a black football player at USC nicknamed some of his fellow players the "White Nation".
On Feb. 14th, the group's creator, Clay Matthews, apologized for his inappropriate actions.
The group has now been taken over by Matthew James Hodgson, a senior from Occidental College, who says he plans to use the group to educate others on the ignorance of racism. There are no longer any members from USC.
