The 46 year old Barrie cab driver is now charged with two counts of impaired driving causing bodily harm, two counts of dangerous driving causing bodily harm, and impaired driving with a blood-alcohol content over 80 mgs ( 10 times the legal limit) after he crashed his cab into another vehicle in a head on collision.
The driver of the other vehicle has serious injuries including facial lacerations, broken teeth, and fractures to his heel and kneecap and the passenger, a lady who is 8 months pregnant, broke her wrist. The drunk received minor injuries.
This happened March 1st about 6:30 pm and the police are asking if anyone seen this cab driver driving erratically to call them.
People call taxi's because they had to much to drink and cannot drive. This cab driver should lose his license to drive a cab forever not just the slap on the hand he will get for driving drunk.
