16 year old girl has been living in a homeless shelter in Venice California. A local arts program decided to give her a camera and this is the result.
For a homeless girl with no experience with a camera she took some really striking photos and it's interesting to see things from her perspective.
She talks about each pictures and what she was thinking at the time it was taken and shares how photography has turned into a way for her to get out her artistic urges. It's a very encouraging piece to see and a great idea by the local arts program to engage kids that are otherwise lost in something positive, creative and fun.
