Singer Courtney Love Sued By California Rehab Center

Trouble seems to follow Courtney Love, former lead singer of "Hole" and widow of the late Kurt Cobain. She's being sued for unpaid rehab and spa expenses to the tune of $181,000.
Beau Monde International of Newport Beach, California is suing the singer Courntey Love for not paying for her three-month stay and treatment at the center. The unpaid fees totaled more than $180,000.
Love has reportedly paid only $10,000 to the center when she first arrived. The lawsuit was filed on March 1. Charges include more than $36,000 for "Spa and Other Incidental Costs."
"It's unfortunate a lawsuit was filed as this matter is in the process of being resolved," Love's attorney, Howard Weitzman, stated.
"Often parties hav differing points of view on what may be owed, which is why lawsuits like this are settled quickly. It's often not the 'if' but the 'how much' that seeds theses types of disputes."
Love was sentenced to more 180 days in a drug rehabilitation center for probation violations including drug possession of painkillers, being under the influence in public, and assault and battery. In December, a judge ended the probation dismissing the three misdemeanor cases.
