Sources close to the actor say his daughter is improving after a "serious illness" scare.
Johnny Depp's 7-year-old daughter is improving after a "serious illness" sent her to the hospital nine days ago. The little girl was in serious condition but the details of the illness have not been released.
"We are happy to report that their daughter is doing much better,"
said Depp's publicist, Robin Baum. "The family greatly appreciates the continued support and respect of their privacy."
Depp, who played Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, is in Britain to film "Sweeny Todd," a dark comedy musical about a barber on a murder spree. Depp's popularity skyrocketed when he starred with Peter DeLouise and Richard Greico as an undercover cop in the 1980s TV show, 21 Jumpstreet.
