A group of Norwegians who were fathered by German soldiers in World War II are suing the Norwegian authorities at the European Court of Human Rights.
The children say that they have suffered world discrimination and abuse after the war.

A big plan of Nazis was to breed a race of Aryan men and women and therefore, liaisons between Norwegian women and German troops were encouraged.

The children of these German soldiers got the name and were called Lebensborn Children. After the war, they were abused, bullied, beaten and locked up in mental institutions. Of course, all of this was done just because their fathers were German soldiers.

Now, 150 war children are seeking justice at the European Court of Human Rights. This is because the Norwegian state failed to protect them from brutality after the World War II.

According to the article, Norway gave some compensation to these children; However, they have never accepted the responsibility of this abuse.

The Court will hear the case on Thursday and decide about its admissibility. Later, if it is found admissible, the European Court will then judge the actual complaint on its merits.

I don't want to take any sides in this. I want to know what you think first and then I will tell you my opinion. Do you think that the abuse was wrong or right? Do you think that suing the country will get them anywhere? Do you think this is right?
