Screening for Lung Cancer Does NOT up Chances of Survival

A few months ago a study published by the New England Journal of Medicine claimed that early detection by a CT scan of the lungs would increase the survival rate in lung cancer patients. This, however, is not true based on recent studies.
New studies show that doing these tests and performing surgeries in no way boost the survival rate in patients. Studies are showing that death rate has stayed about the same.
