If NBC renews Scrubs for a seventh season, actor Zach Braff can say "hello" to $350,000 an episode, making him one of television's highest paid actors.
Braff has agreed to a yearlong deal with NBC TV Studios that would promise him top pay for the 2007-2008 season of Scrubs. There are about 24 episodes each season.
The deal, which will only be applicable if the show is renewed, is expected to go through. But Nielsen Media Research reports that season-to-date viewership r is low at 6.9 million people.
If the show is not canceled, Braff will join Charlie Sheen of "Two and a Half Men" as one of the highest paid television actors. Neither Braff's reps nor NBC reps would comment on the story.
Braff plays John "JD" Dorian, a medical intern on the show and is considered to be the main character on the show. In addition to acting, Braff recently tried his hand at writing and directing the romantic comedy movie "Garden State" in 2004.
