article imageDancing With the Stars Alum Jerry Springer To Host Another Reality TV Show

By Lisa Angotti     Mar 6, 2007 in Entertainment
TV talk show host Jerry Springer proved he could impress the judges on TV's hit reality show Dancing With the Stars. Now the tables are turned and he'll be the one to judge on America's Got Talent.
The 16-year veteran of daytime talk, Jerry Springer, was announced Monday as the new front man for the American Idol-esque show, America's Got Talent. Springer, 63, recently entertained audiences on the popular show, Dancing WIth the Stars, where he danced his butt off, not always keeping up, but always putting on a show. Springer takes the place of former America's Got Talent Host, Regis Philbin who decided not to return for another season.
Springer was quoted as saying, "I've been around some of America's most talented individuals on my talk show," he said, "so I'll feel right at home hosting `America's Got Talent."ls
Maybe the talent he is referring to is the skill of the actors who play out the scenes on his outrageous daytime gig, The Jerry Springer Show.
