Mel Gibson Weighs Shooting Movie in Panama

A singer suggested his next project should be a remake of the 1950 film noir "Panic in the Streets," set in Panama.
Ruben Blades had dined with Gibson on sunday. Gibson is thinking of heading south to film a movie in Panama. A film maker Jose of Panama said he is negotiating with Gibson to produce a movie. The movie is about spanish explorer Vasco Nunez de Balboa.
The tourism bureau the movie which was released last year was filmed in the jungles of the Gulf coast state of Veracruz which is a epic movie about the demise of the Mayan civilization was a good experience for the director
