Sabres Down Leafs In Tucker's Return

Another chance for the leafs to move into a playoff chance is gone.

Not even the return of Darcy Tucker may be enough to bring them back into the foreground. A second-period goal from Drew Stafford stood as the winner Saturday, and the injury-riddled Buffalo Sabres kept on cruising with a 3-1 win while delivering another body blow to Toronto's playoff chances. Nikolai Antropov scored the only Leafs goal late in the game, and the Buds remain in the Eastern Conference's 10th spot, one point behind the Montreal Canadiens who lost at Boston. If the leafs want to make the playoffs now is the time to start winning. They cant be lose many if not any games at this point of the season if they want to make the playoffs.
