Maccast Loop - Live Podcast for Mac Geeks

by DavoMrMac.
If you like the Apple Mac, and you listen to podcasts, then take things one step further...
I am a little biased on this one, as I have listened to the Maccast podcast before, I write a few articles for the website, but I just had to share the Maccast Loop news with you and details of this new technology.

Basically, a podcast is a pre-recorded show, that you then download and listen to. The Maccast Loop allows you to take part in the recording. It is all achieved with technology provided by Talkshoe (http://www.talkshoe.com/). Basically, you install a small application, create a user account, and you can then dial into the live recording of the podcast with a regular phone, Gizmo, or Skype.

Whilst the show is being recorded you can just listen in, or you can type responses in the chat window, or you can join in with comments on the subject being discussed. When it is all finished the recording of the show is available for download.

Great fun, come along and join in. There are many shows going on, but if you want to join in the Maccast Loop, it is every Sunday at around 1:00pm EST.
