Police probe suspected tampering of Kraft cookies

Christie Chewy Chunks Ahoy! cookies may have been tampered with. Police are investigating after small, sharp metal objects were found in the packages.
Another food recall and it happens to be my favorite cookies.
Two comsumers found small objects in the packages of cookies and alerted
Kraft Canada Inc. about their find. However, no one has been seriously injured. Galia declined comment when asked if anyone had suffered minor injuries or what the small metal object was.
"Unfortunately because it's under investigation, I can't give you any further details," she said.
Kraft said in a press release issued on Thursday that all of the packages were distributed only throughout Ontario and Quebec. The company has deployed its sales team to implement a voluntary recall, Galia said Friday.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has also been notified.

So to the residents of Ontario and Quebec, if you have any packages of the reported cookies toss them out just to be on the safe side; as the report didn't say whether or not Kraft Canada Inc. was going to reimburse consumers.
