Confirmed: iPhone Will Have VOIP Available!

By Mark Fleser     Mar 1, 2007 in Technology
"We are announcing today that we are going to support the iPhone as soon as it becomes available in June 2007."
Notice, I said "available". From what I can tell it's not going to come with VOIP service built in, but will be available, for free, via a downloadable plugin for the phone.
JaJah is similar to other VOIP services, but needs no software, whatsoever. What you do is enter your phone number, the person you're calling's phone number and follow the instructions and through some magic voodoo of the internet connects the two through the internet for free. They also have a mobile service that will be coming out for the iPhone and already supports many current models.
I've never heard of JaJah but it seems to be a very cool service and the price it right at FREE for most calls.
Check them out.
