From the creators of American Idol
Haven't heard about the multi-million dollar contract that brought soccer player and worldwide heart throb David Beckham to the U.S.? Well, you're in luck. In an effort to capitalize on the move's publicity, the creators of American Idol will film the entire process of moving Victoria Beckham, better known as 'Posh Spice' to the United States.
The show that is airing on NBC, will feature six, unscripted, half hour long episodes chronicling the former pop stars relocation from Europe.
Producer Simon Fuller of American Idol fame also managed The Spice Girls during their rise to fame and will showcase exactly what happens when a celebrity transfers her support system, including publicist, stylist and personal assistant, to a new town and will show the star shopping for a new home and new car.
"For the past few years, I've been inundated with requests to make a show based on Victoria's real life. After much thought, we have finally decided to do it," with NBC as partner, Fuller said.
So get ready reality TV junkies, another great way to waste 30 minutes is headed your way. Posh Spice moves to the U.S. and you can see how it happens.
