Man tries smothering girlfriend with pillow, then tries stabbing her with phone, then puts explosives in her mouth, then sends her out for breakfast. Dude, only Wacko's do this type of stuff.
Police say a Stratford man tried to smother, stab and blow up his girlfriend of six months.
"He is a personality who in my opinion is capable of great violence," Superior Court Judge Earl Richards said, in setting bond for Michael Beaulieu.
He was ordered held in lieu of $1 million bond Monday.
Officals have confirmed that several tube-type devices were found in the victim's home, and were indead the real deal.
Beaulieu, 37, is charged with possession of an explosive device, first-degree unlawful restraint, possession of a controlled substance and threatening. More charges can be expected.
Beaulieu was just released from prison 2 days before assulting the same woman.
The victim said that he first tried to suffocate her with a pillow, but then began choking her with his hands, yelling "Die bitch, why don't you just die." But when that failed, and Beaulieu grabbed a cordless telephone and began jabbing her in the neck with the antenna.
Beaulieu even went as far as telling the woman if she didn't shut up, he was going to shove the explosives in her mouth and light them.
In a weird turn of events ( which was great for her sake) Beaulieu told her to leave and go get him some breakfast.
