My thanks to all of you for your support,we won this round!
Well, the hearing is over and parole was denied for the monster who molested my daughter. The three members of the board just ripped him apart and it will be 36 months before he can reapply. I can't begin to tell all of you how much your support meant to me and my family during what has been a very trying time. You all are the best.
Now I want to try to bring a positive out of this chaos. Many of you shared your own horror stories about molestation with me yesterday in my first post about this. Now I want to encourage anyone who might be living with this to make a break and escape your abuser. Whether it's a Father,Uncle,Cousin or whoever you don't deserve to be abused. At the top I posted the link to Cruiseroo's site where you can find support and share your story. Call the police, call your pastor or call a hotline. It doesn't matter where you find help but please find it soon. No one deserves to live with the shame of being molested, let's help to stop it and help each other.
If this community can't make a difference then it can't be made. Reach out to each other and help remove the stigma that so often goes with this crime. DJ rocks!
