Post Office May Issue Forever Stamp

The US Postal Service is now considering issuing a forever stamp.

If the forever stamp is issued, you would never pay an increase for first class mail as long as your supply of forever stamps lasted. This would be great for everyone, but I would not want to have to calculate how many forever stamps I would need for the rest of my life. But most likely individuals and companies would just buy the forever stamps the way their purchasing ordinary stamps right now, till it was announced that the forever stamps would be discountinued. Then, I would imagine there would be a mad rush to buy the forever stamp before the prices went up. Should be interesting to see what happens with this proposal.
