What did you learn in jail?

By soome2000     Feb 23, 2007 in Crime
A Sudbury man who landed in jail for sixty-five days awaiting trial says he learned "not to drink the jail tea or coffee."
The man had waged a campaign of harassment on his landlord, which is what landed him in jail in the first place.
The judge asked "Did you learn anything?"
He told the judge, "The food was good, it's just the swamp water they call coffee or tea is not very good."
James Young, 52, also told Ontario Court Justice John Keast, "If I broke wind and you were downwind, of me you would accuse me of setting off a stink bomb."
Young pleaded guilty on Thursday to one charge of harassing his landlord. Keast sentenced Young to time served and placed him under probation for a year.
