Could an Oscar for "An Inconvenient Truth" catapult Al Gore back into the front lines?
Speculation about Gore and his intentions about the upcoming Presidential Race is a topic for discussion today! CNN posted a scenario in which he would announce his candidacy during an acceptance speach at the Oscar Awards. There are always a lot of politicing that goes on during these events, so why not? I know many folks believe that if he does win an honor for his piece on Global Warming, it will be a catalyst for him to run - even if he doesn't announce it then.
Maybe the saying "Gore is good, Gore is Great, Gore for Pres, 2008," may be a reality if "An Inconvenient Truth", which is nominated for an Oscar, wins!
I, for one, will be watching to see what happens--in a city where anything is possible~

Update 9:40 EST 2/25/07 - Al Gore did not announce any intentions to run for President of the US when he had the opportunity to.
