article imageNew Daylight Saving Time Changes for Palm OS, Software Update

By Chris V. Thangham     Feb 22, 2007 in Business
Palm releases software update for Daylight Saving Time for its Palm Handhelds
Beginning in 2007, Daylight Saving Time (DST) starts on the second Sunday in March (March 11, 2007), and changes back to standard time on the first Sunday in November (November 4, 2007).
Palm has provided a software update for all of its Palm Handhelds in Palm OS as well as for its Windows Mobile Treos. This software update will change the current start/end date that is built into some Palm devices.
With this Palm update, your phone will automatically change to this new Daylight saving time. Without the Daylight Saving Time update, all your calendar and e-mail messages will be one hour off the actual time in the locations that observe DST.
I uploaded this Palm Software update for my Treo 650, it is only 26KB file. If you have a Palm Handheld or if your friend has one you can pass the above link.
