Don't Let Babineaux Babysit Your Dog...
On Sunday Atlanta Falcons defensive lineman Jonathan Babineaux, 25, and girlfriend Blair Anderson, 24, got into an argument that ended in the death of an innocent animal.
Anderson told police that she had left her home after the argument to go to the movies. She said she got a call from Babineaux telling her to come home and check on her dog. She came home to fine her dog Kilo, a pit bull mix, in severe pain. She then drove her dog to the Animal Emergeny Center where doctors pronounced him dead on arrival.
Babineaux later showed up to the hospital and denied having anything to do with the death of the dog.
Police reported that Babineaux's story didn't match the dog's injuries. He was arrested at the hospital and is being charged with felony animal abuse.
Kilo reportedly died from a massive blow to the head. Police are still awaiting additional information.
