A Sky News reporter in the UK found that he could get a Doctorate online in only five days for a price.
Most people with degrees work hard for their qualification over a period of years.
But there is another, more convenient way - buy one on the internet.
As Sky reporter Mike McCarthy found, nothing could be simpler...
'Things to do: collect suit from cleaners, go to car wash, take son to dentist, apply for doctorate.'
And it was almost as easy as that. Becoming a doctor was no harder to achieve than any of the other chores on my list for that day. It took no more than five minutes and the only academic requirement was the ability to remember/spell your own name and address.
Having filled in the online form it was simply a question of sitting back and waiting. Not for me the years of hard toil and exams. I got my doctorate in five days.
