By RobotGod     Feb 21, 2007 in Entertainment
The assorted "Highlander" sequels always seem to have different cuts floating around, and the latest one is proving no different.
A version of the upcoming feature "Highlander: The Source" is making the way around the BitTorrenting sites at the moment and drawing a lot of attention.
There's only one problem - the film ain't locked yet. Producers Peter Davis and Bill Panzer are presently editing and remixing the film and have said in a memo that the final cut isn't due for delivery to Lionsgate until mid-March.
God help us if these guys once again overedit a Highlander movie. The first movie was brilliant and touching and epic. From there, they have been a continuing dissapointment. We still love almost all of the Highlander movies, even if they are full of holes and faults. It is just that they do not give a rat's behind about coherence with the rest of the imagined universe. So for the time being I am doubtful about a "great" Highlander movie, but am keeping my fingers crossed.
