Did you or do you know someone who has had an "anything but normal" wedding? How many of you on DJ have a weird or outrageous wedding story to tell? Did you get married on a plane, or in a haunted house? Do tell...
After reading several recent posts on couples wanting to get married in a graveyard, and a Valentine's Day McDonald's wedding, I thought it would be interesting to find out how many others out there have had or have been to a WACKY wedding, or how many of you who aren't married have thought about what you want your wedding to be like.
My folks have run a wedding photography business for over 35 years, and Lord knows I've seen more than a few pictures from "odd" weddings. From Halloween weddings where "eyeballs" were an appetizer, to a Phantom of the Opera wedding, a groom being "arrested" in front of the bride by police co-workers, family pets being the ring bearer, to weddings on the farm, I know that the phrase "to each their own" couldn't be truer.
So fellow DJ'ers, do tell, and if you have pictures, let us see them. What great stories you can all tell your grand kids one day..."you know, grandpa and I got married in a canoe..." It's story time!!!!!!!!!!!
