"Bombardier Inc. is going ahead with plans to build a 100-seat commercial plane after obtaining 38 firm orders worth more than $1.5 billion.
With the launch of its CRJ1000, an extended version of the CRJ 900, the Montreal-based plane and train builder enters the 100-seat realm after twice delaying plans for an even bigger plane, the C series. "
Now, Bombardier. Theres a company with a heart of pure 24k gold. I don't know where the rest of you live, but in the marvellous city of Toronto, they do our subways and streetcars. They also do a great job, I might add.
100-seat planes are awfully big, the whale of the air. Wouldn't want to see one of those bad boys come storming into my from porch do to bad engineering ( cough cough U.S. Blackhawks ).
Theres my 10239123123 cents on this. Until next time,
Lemery the King.
