The Toronto Maple Leafs are getting some support from the '67 champs. They are there to give them morale support and how to deal with they're going.
"But with the passage of time has come the near mythologizing of the '67 all-Canadian boys. Tim Horton with the strength of 10 men, Dave Keon skating rings around the Habs and the maskless Johnny Bower taking one for the team right in the temple and then making a poke-check to boot. So perhaps it was good for the present Leafs to look across their blueline and see their exhalted ancestors are very much mortal."
