Best of the Best

by Lemery.
For 2007, Toyota and Acura take home the big prizes for Camry Hybrid and RDX
"The members of the Automobile Journalists Association of Canada (AJAC) continued their love affair with Japanese brands this year, awarding both the overall Car and Utility Vehicle of the Year trophies to familiar companies.

The Toyota Camry Hybrid was chosen as top new car, while the Utility category, consisting of trucks, vans, SUVs and crossovers, went to the Acura RDX.

Five of the six finalists in the competition were Japanese, with Honda Fit and Mazda-speed3 finishing behind Camry in the car category, while Toyota RAV4 and Mercedes-Benz GL-Class, the only non-Japanese finalist, took runners-up spots in Utility Vehicle."

This doesn't surprise me that much. Toyota does make great cars. A Toyota will make a great family car because it has everything that a family car needs, especially safety.

Japanese cars are made the best. As you can see five of the six finalists in this competition were Japanese, and only one was of other nationality, which was the German made Mercedes-Benz.

Good job Toyota. You put lots of thought into your designs, and it pays off.

Until next time,

Lemery the King.
