Thieves Lock Employees in Freezer

By jello     Feb 18, 2007 in Crime
4 Swiss Chalet employees were locked inside the restaurant's freezer to conduct and armed robbery.
A trio of bandits approached an employee near the rear of the Guelph St. and Mountainview Rd. area in the Georgetown diner shortly before midnight. They were armed with guns and forced the employees back inside the store into a walk-in freezer, before looting the store safe and cash register.
The employees were able to force the freezer door open after 20 minutes and escaped safely.
