Two Youth football coaches arrested on felony child endangerment for giving diuretic pills to two young players.
Hugh Joshua Weyer,22, and Christopher Murphy,24, were arrested and charged on felony child endangerment for allegedly giving diuretic pills to 2 young football players and also had other players do dangerous exercises to lose weight fast last fall making the children lose 9 pounds in 24 hours. None of the children were hurt by this.
The coaches were fired after a parent complained. The boys involved were between ages of 7 to 13 had to do rigorous training programs and 5 others had to do extra training to lose weight for 24 hours.
That should not be allowed and I am glad they were charged. Even though no child was hurt, they could have been. Losing weight that fast is not good on your body organs. They are lucky no one was hurt.
