"Drew Neilson of North Vancouver, B.C., won the men's event and Maella Ricker of Squamish, B.C., took top honours among women as Canada dominated a World Cup snowboard cross meet Saturday.
Neilson emerged the winner ahead of American Nate Holland to earn 1,000 points in the World Cup standings.
Neilson fell on his first run.
"That was like a wakeup call for me," he said. "After that, I told myself not to lose again." "
Now this guy is a pro. I have watched a lot of the snowboarding lately since it is winter ( :p ), and I have really enjoyed it. I like his hair, his nose, and the way he sweats, and the attitude he gives that to me anyways says : I'm the best.
Its still a complete mystery on how this guy is so great! He FELL on his first run and blew that off and still came up first place. Screw the gold medal, this guys heart is made of gold!
First the women, now the men. Canada is great. I love this country. Good job guys, keep up the great work.
Until next time,
Lemery
