Heavens to Murgatroyd! What is the world coming to!? On this site, you can view crimes in Chicago sorted by type, date, ZIP code or other location, and you can see crimes displayed on the street-route of your choice! Don't live in fear or anything...
is a site focused on crimes that is currently happening in the Chicago area. It has a data base from November 2, 2005 to January 26, 2007 and they are expanding their databases. It is browsable by crime type, date of crime, zip code and other location. For every type you search it gives a Google Map Mashup with data points. When you click the data point it gives you additional information. Since it is a big city you see a number of data points. And also for each crime they will put a synopsis of the crime from data obtained by Chicago Journal newspaper plus a RSS Feed.
