Police are searching for the hit-and-run driver who struck an 84-year-old woman as she tried to cross Sunset Avenue on Friday night, authorities said.
The car that hit an 84 year old woman as she tried to cross the street is to be believed to be a early honda civic or accord and light green or teal. The car would also have windshield damage. On Friday night a man waved down a police officer and told the officer that a woman was just struck by a vehicle in front of a diner. The officer found the woman in the roadway but the car that struck her fled the scene. Police believe the woman had been in the diner, then tried to cross the street, to walk toward the Sunset Farm Market, where her car was parked.
