Finding Duplicates on DJ

I am looking for the secret to searching for content on Digital Journal!

Being new to Digital Journal I have been going back and reading anything I can about how the site works. It is very straight forward and easy, which I really enjoy. But! I can't seem to figure out if it is the way I am searching for key words or what is going on. I just posted on the Salt Lake City shooting for example, I searched by both keywords, the url and the title of the actual article. Nothing showed up, so I went ahead and wrote a post. After I posted it I went to look at the article and...... right beside it was another write up on the same article. The other one was done an hour earlier so I know it wasn't just a matter of it not being there. I quickly took my post down, but I am just wondering if there is something I am missing ?
