Swiss Town Considers Mirror To Capture Sunlight

Imagine living in a village where there's no sunlight for three months out of the year.
The Swiss town is so deep in a valley that the surrounding mountains are dark from December to February. Local officials are considering the construction of a giant mirror that would reflect the sun's rays and give the town more light.
It would be similar to what's already being done in Viganella, an Italian town nestled in an Alpine valley near the Swiss border. Their mirror -- 26 feet by 16 feet -- follows the sun's path using a remote computer.
Great solution. It would be quite an undertaking. It would probably benefit their town with jobs and such as well. I would love to see how they pull this off. I bet the finished product looks really cool too. We humans are a resourceful bunch.
