A very interesting article about two high schoolers in ohio who had planned to get the day off from school. On that day the administration at school had already posted a one hour delay but the two students (16 and 17 years old) got onto the school network, not by hacking but with a password. These students published a statement sent to all parents and students that school was closed due to inclement weather.
The younger boy in juvenile court with delinquency by unauthorized use of a computer and by reason of records tampering with records. The older boy was charged with delinquency by reason complicity to those crimes.
As a result these two boys are probably regretting there ideas to call of school illegally and hope the justice system will have mercy on them.
