Talking Urinal Cakes Offer Drinking And Driving Advice

New Mexico has taken its fight against drunken driving to men's restrooms around the state.

The state has placed an order for 500 talking urinal cakes. They will deliver recorded anti-DWI messages to bar and restaurant patrons in an attempt to get to them before they get behind the wheel. "You drink, you drive, you lose." is printed on the top. The state Transportation Department plans to distribute them to Santa Fe bars and restaurants and establishments in Farmington, Gallup and Las Cruces. They spent $21 for each talking urinal cake. Good idea. I can see how this would make an impact. It puts it right in your face....or crotch. It will make some people think twice and save lives. Its a shame they cant make such decisions on their own. At $21 a piece, it should save them alot in accidents etc. Very cool.
