Thousands of people were evacuated from a mall in Spokane, Wash., Sunday afternoon after unknown fumes sickened people inside.
Haz-Mat crews investigated the source of the fumes at the NorthTown Mall, but the article does not say what they found. The Spokane fire chief said that at least eight people were taken to a hospital.
These 8 complained of throat irritation or chest-tightening, but none of the conditions was considered life-threatening. After that the mall was closed for the day. You dont expect to be a part of something like this while you are shopping at the mall. Whatever happened, it was not good for business on the Pre-Valentines weekend.
