Car chase ends in arrest

A small car chase took place downtown Manitowoc Thursday night, resulting in an arrest 13 minutes late.

According to police a cadillac was seen by officers traveling east bound and when the vehicle halted for a red light halfway through the intersection. The light turned green and the driver continued to drive and than an officer activated his lights and turned on his sirens. The driver of the cadillac did not stop for the police. The suspect finally pulled over and ran downstairs into a building and there he was apprehended. The man was arrested for fleeing officers and now is being held on a probation hold and the suspect is to have a bail hearing shortly.
