His father owned the School Book Depository and he has set a starting price of $100,000 for what he describes as "perhaps the most famous window ever offered up for sale in the world."
The window removed several weeks after the Nov. 22, 1963, because visitors were stealing pieces of it. It has been on display at the Father's home, at least until his death in 1986. The son lent the window to the Sixth Floor Museum in Dallas for 12 years before recently reclaiming it again.
History buffs, conspiracy buffs and museums can all place their bids. Should be interesting to see what the final bid is.

I have to admit, looking at it by itself in that auction does kinda make you feel like you are witnessing history. Feels ominous somehow.
