A pregnant woman involved in an accident in Landis, N.C. died overnight at Carolinas’ Medical Center in Charlotte, according to the hospital’s nursing supervisor.
Witnesses said Kannapolis police were chasing a Jeep Cherokee, driven by Ribo Verto Guillen Martinez, 33, along Main Street in Landis Tuesday afternoon. Witnesses said the Jeep hit a white Saturn head-on, flipping the vehicle and injuring the passengers inside.
The Landis Police chief said Kannapolis Police had followed the Jeep after they noticed it driving erratically, speeding and crossing the center line, but the chief said it was not a “chase.” Witnesses said the Jeep hit two other vehicles, but no one was injured, before hitting the Saturn.
Lovely, so because some dumb-ass decides to drink (probably drunk) a little girl doesn't have her mom anymore - as well as the sibling she was supposed to.
You know after the whole Peterson trial, this guy is going to be charged with two murders and I think it serves him right.
