Austrian authorities said Wednesday they have busted a major international child pornography ring involving more than 2,360 suspects from 77 countries.
An international child porn ring has been shut down. The ring involved over 2,360 suspects from 77 countries. The suspects paid to view videos of infants and young children being sexually abused.
Austria's Federal Criminal Investigations Bureau seized the videos of "the worst kind of child sexual abuse."
They have not made any arrests yet, but the videos have been shown to authorities in hopes of getting the suspects who are on video raping the young girls.
One man reported suspicious material he found while working for a Vienna-based Internet file hosting service. Investigators said they recorded more than 8,000 hits to the site within 24 hours from over 2000 computers.
So far the U.S had about 600 suspects, Germany had about 400, France about 100.
The site was from Russia and the fee was $89.00 to access the sick material on the site.
They believe the videos of the infants and young children up to age 14 were made in Eastern Europe and uploaded to the site from somewhere in Britain.
Again another story of sick people, those that made these videos, those that raped these babies and those that paid to view the videos. Just makes me sick to know that there are so many children being sexually abused all over this world.
We need harsher punishment for these demented "animals"
