N.D. issues nation's first hemp permits

North Dakota issued the nation's first licenses to grow industrial hemp Tuesday to two farmers who still must meet federal requirements before they can plant the crop.
In a move thats likely to elicit a lot of hysterical reactions, North Dakota has become the first state to issue licenses for growing industrial hemp. This officially heralds George Bush's America into the 19th century. Yay.
